In a prestigious ceremony, a Nigerian attorney has been crowned the 45th Miss Nigeria, showcasing a blend of beauty, intellect, and social consciousness. The event highlighted the contestants' poise and commitment to societal causes, emphasizing that modern pageants value more than just physical appearance.


Doris Esiokhayamhe Ogah, a 26-year-old lawyer and model from the South-South region, was crowned the 45th Miss Nigeria during a glamorous ceremony held last night at the Royal Box in Lagos. The event, themed "Beyond Beauty: Reigning Together as Queens," showcased the talents of 45 contestants, with Ogah standing out for her poise and intelligence. The esteemed panel of judges included notable figures such as Mo Abudu, renowned filmmaker and media mogul; Mai Atafo, celebrated fashion designer; actress Kate Henshaw; and photographer Kelechi Amadi-Obi, among others.

The coronation marked a significant moment in the Miss Nigeria pageant's history, celebrating beauty and women's empowerment. As Ogah takes on her new role, she aims to leverage her platform to advocate for social causes and represent Nigeria internationally. This year’s event was hosted by former beauty queen Adaeze Aduaka, adding to the night's excitement as guests celebrated the crowning of a new queen.
